There is something about the sunshine… Warm weather and patios that seem to make people happy! I say that as I reminisce about the absolutely gorgeous weather Vancouver has had all summer. We have had less than a handful of rainy days over the last several months which has turned this “rainy city” into somewhat of a magical place full of sunshine… where grey days are frowned upon.
As we are in August (I know where did the summer go?) I can’t help but feel nervous about the weather that awaits us here on the West Coast. Although I spent 3 years in Victoria, this will be my first fall in Vancouver. And as someone who thrives on vitamin D, the lack of sunshine coming up in the next couple of months is a scary thought.
To relieve my anxiety over the change of weather that is bound to happen I have been reminiscing over past winter vacations to Mexico, and researching new resorts to visit this winter. What sort of ways help you prepare for the colder weather that is fast approaching?
I wore this Jessica Simpson hi-low ombre maxi dress out this weekend for patio drinks and lunch. I love the way this dress flows and I think the transition of different hues of blue is beautiful. The belt on this dress is brown rope with feathers giving it a real boho chic appeal to it. I paired this dress with our Rayna Earrings and love how the off-white gems and rustic gold setting work perfectly with the style of this dress. I wore our Farrah bracelet to add a little sparkle and glam to the whole look.
